About me
Born and raised in Honduras, I moved to the US in 2010. Since then, I have been studying and practicing design. I am passionate about creating design with a voice of its own that is able to tell a story–design that is also assertive and with purpose. I find it most satisfying when design is not only able to enthrall the viewer but it is also able to teach and encourage the audience to become a better version of themselves. I am a lover–of poetry, discovering music, games, literature, folk-horror stories, and food made with care. All of these things influence my work. As an immigrant I feel compelled to show people the contrast in which different people exist for the sake of learning and developing sensibilities towards others' needs as a form of empathy. Having to adapt to a new culture has taught me to be tolerant and to be open to others' point of view as a necessary stance in order to understand and coexist. For now, this is me.
